To begin with, low‑voltage constant‑voltage Triac drivers provide a simple way to dim LED strips. These leading or trailing‑edge dimmable drivers work with standard wiring, so most common LED dimmers function without any changes. As a result, installation remains straightforward for most projects.

In addition, Triac dimmable drivers integrate well with many smart‑control systems. Platforms such as Casambi, Lutron, Connect4, and Rako connect smoothly, allowing your lighting to operate as part of a complete smart‑home setup. This means automation, scene control, and remote access can be added with minimal effort.

However, when you use the TUYA WiFi/RF LLT‑WT51 receiver, you must pair it with a non‑dimmable driver. This is because the LLT‑WT51 handles all dimming, while the driver supplies power only. Furthermore, the LLT‑WT51 supports five lighting types: single‑colour, CCT, RGB, RGBW, and RGB+CCT. If you start with single‑colour strip, you can upgrade later to RGB or RGBW by replacing only the strip, as long as the load remains within limits.

Alternatively, you can dim single‑colour strip by pairing a Triac dimmable driver with the LLT‑S1TR for TUYA WiFi/RF control. In this case, any upgrade to RGB or RGBW later would require replacing all components.
