Understanding Colour Temperature in LED Lighting
Colour temperature describes how we identify different shades of white light. It is measured in Kelvin (K), with lower Kelvin values producing warmer, softer light and higher Kelvin values creating cooler, brighter light.
A 3000K LED is commonly known as Warm White, offering a cosy, inviting glow. A 4000K LED is referred to as Cool White, providing a cleaner, more neutral appearance. These two colour temperatures are the most popular choices for both residential and commercial lighting.
